It's possible to find a business partner who cares about the planet. We and our manufacturing partner Steelcase are constantly seeking more effective ways to conserve resources, prevent pollution and nurture environmental consciousness in our people every day. 

An example of Steelcase’s efforts to take meaningful steps toward a more sustainable future is their recent agreement to purchase all of the green power produced from a new wind farm in Texas for at least five years. More renewable energy from this project means less demand for electricity that’s generated from the burning of fossil fuels.

With this commitment, Steelcase becomes the largest purchaser of U.S. wind power credits in the office furniture industry. It also joins the Environmental Protection Agency’s Green Power Leadership Club. But perhaps most importantly, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, with this initiative alone, we will help eliminate more than 61 million pounds of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere each year.
